Pump action is better used not for killing grunts, but for shooting weakpoints. 22321 oneshots macteras if you hit almost every pellet and deals very high damage to everything else. The crusial thing to do to maximize dps is pickaxe-cancel pump animation (it's very easy to do, like platform gun canceling)

So... I run Supercooling chamber on my M1000 with all damage modifiers (lets me one shot web spitters on Haz 5, though Haz 5 + I would benefit from an ammo upgrade more). On Haz 3 (Haz 4 too I think) I can one shot the Hive Guard's antennae thingies (actually dealing so much damage taking out the last antennae still deals a pretty decent chunk of damage to the main health pool, had no idea that was a thing before I saw it happen with my own eyes) and deal over a quarter of the health of the dreadnought on top of that. HUGE damage. Now with if my other scout friend took the Marked for Death overclocking. I can do the same on Haz 5+ I think. God I am THRILLED by the possibilities.

As soon as I saw scorching tide one shot a crowd of nemesis, I knew it was going to get a major nerf. Nemesis is their boy, nobody is allowed to embarass him.

Kind of wild that they gave Gunner a fully automatic PGL but refuse to give Scout a crumb of higher single-target damage that isn't tied to a gimmick.

Holy moley, that explosive goo mod looks fun as hell. Yeah you're kind of forced to carry the fire loaded EPC, but drillers have been tailoring their sidearms to combo off their primary for several seasons now; we learned to love it or leave it.

The GK2 is made a man by AI Stability Engine and undone by AI Stability Engine. I feel it's a totally irrelevant weapon without it, but with it, it makes the other two weapons feel awful in comparison.

On the whole I don't mind the scout ocs, MFD is something i've wanted for a long time and conductive thermals can be fun to run with the crossbow, but I just can't help but be dissapointed that scout has yet again failed to get any truly transformative ocs on the level of the shard diffractor exploding platforms or the hurricane's shotgun blast. I like playing scout a lot but it's always felt like he's the blandest dwarf when it comes to his weapons, crossbow nonwithstanding, and most of his ocs really don't add a whole lot outside of making his already hard-hitting arsenal hit harder. Maybe this is more an issue with older ocs in general, but is it too much to ask to get something like a homing rocket on the crossbow or some sort of shotgun rewire for the drak?

Driller gers a fucking flame shotgun explosion nuker and Scout just gets more boring, ineffective shit that doesnt make him more fun or get to do more impact against the swarm.

SMRT OS is actually not bad. BCCAC. for some reason the 2 locks would still trigger the electrify; but from testing against big targets, the +20% dmg bonus is still slightly better than the electric combo, even if I try to milk the electrify effect (which lasts only like .5s), this is before accounting the "freebie" +3 penetration. and T2C (zoom lens) instead of macro is better, helps you curve, aim with the edge of the box, you'd be surprised at how good it is at hitting the weak spots.

While i love the goo gun i dont use the EPC so imma have to pass on massive explosive and just stick with my disperser compound

17:57 I never really got into breach cutter. Skipped from PGL to Shard Diffractor, and got Volatile Impact Reactor as one of my earliest OCs. Compact Rounds was actually my first one, too.

Getting on a zipline and shooting from above, away from melee enemies is one of my favourite things to do. I set it up so I can see more of the map than usual, then just overwatch to protect everyone. If someone goes down I drop a shield on them or drop a shield if they look like they need it. And I can always throw the shield to them from far away cause of the height advantage. I also play solo a lot and zip lines in deep dives or has 5s with hordes of enemies is amazing. Nothing can touch you.

I've been really enjoying the Drak OC. The additional electric damage they take as soon as you proc it really feels substantial, and the ability to freeze big things with only 1 cryo arrow goes a long way. I think you're selling it short.

What is the damage text mod you use? It seems like much cleaner and even makes you to see freeze/ignite levels.

What mod are you using for the damage text and enemy status (freezing progression)
